It is based on theoretical knowledge about this service and research survey, conducted on a random sample of schools and school canteen. It provides knowledge about the economic positives and negatives of both forms of school canteens and recommendations on appropriate variant. ICT and its use in the work of school catering manager

The bachelor thesis on a topic "ICT and its use at work of school catering manager" in its theoretic part deals with history, selection of specific programmes, their development and manager's acquisition of professional knowledge about information communication technology. The school catering managers' characteristic highlights their professional growth in an area of financing of school catering operation, extensive administration processing by means of ICT brings time saving in their manager position. ICT is a necessary implement for internal and external communication in the whole area of catering. Their ability to improve themselves in modern information technology, to acquire new information, is perceived as lifelong learning. The research part of the thesis is concerned with the structure of respondents, their satisfaction with applied software and ability to use internet and other information technologies at their work which leads to services improvement and contributes to time saving in school catering manager's working hours in different sorts of facilities in the Czech republic.

Financing of the direct costs of school meals in each region and its impact on quality of service

Title: Financing of the direct costs of school meals in regions and its impact on guality of service. Author: Jana Zapletalová Department: School Management Centre Supervisor: RNDr. Jana Marková Abstract: Submitted thesis acquaints the reader with the potential sources of financing for device of school meals, focuses in particular on the clarification of the nature of the financicng of direct costs in relation to the quality of the services provided. Part of work is an explanation of the principles of financing of the direct costs at the level of the Ministry of education and regions in 2012. Research of the work compares the amount of funds spent for the financing of direct costs for device of school meals in each of the regions in 2010 and in 2011, on whitch substantial changes- distribution of wage funds on pedagogical and other proffesionals in education and reducing the volume of financial recources of the other financial base of the expenditure. Findings will provide a comprehensive overview and improve the orientation of managers in device of school meals in this matter, in the legislation of education, procedures and budgetary rules. Conduct of supplementary activity is going to bring these device uses the capacity, make profit and possibility to offer employment. Benefit is going to be increase economy of school device and use the production places and equipment, expansion of offer of job and services. In this time of decreasing number of children boarders and it is one of the possibilities, how use the capacity these devices of school eating, which were reconstructed or retrofitted of services and accomplished strict hygienic criterions. Expectation is, that this dissertation is going to serve as helping material for devices of school eating expanding themselves.
